Lucy Boynton is a US citizen born in New York City, USA on 17 January 1994. She however grew up in London. Lucys dad Graham Boynton works as a travel editor at Telegraph Media Group. He is British. Adriaane Pielou also works as the travel writer at Conde Nast Traveller London. Lucys twin sister Emma Louise, who is older than Lucy, also works in the field of broadcast journalism. Lucy went to Blackheath High School (in southeast London in England) and later studied at James Allens Girls School Dulwich South London. Lucy had her first film role when she was only twelve years old. A casting director noticed her at the drama class she was taking with Lucy. Lucy was then contacted by the casting director and she was asked to audition. She was asked to perform an audition for the role of Beatrix as the lead girl in 2006's biographical family drama Miss Potter. Lucy won the part after numerous auditions and training sessions. This marked the beginning of her acting career. It was this role that led to Lucy receiving her first nomination for the Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance in a Feature Film Supporting Young Artist. Lucy was a part of Posy Fossil in 2007's BBC film Ballet Shoes. She played an actress named Posy and is one of the three main characters. It is interesting to note that all of the scenes which were shown Posy dancing ballet were shot with Lucys Body double. Lucy appeared as Margaret Dashwood for the BBC serial Sense and Sensibility in 2007. The year 2010 was the year that Boynton was seen as Henrietta Norton in the TV film Mo. The next film she appeared in was The British TV detective drama Lewis. Her debut lead TV role was on the show. Lucy is Esther Hagadorn on the Canadian-American 2013 movie Copperhead. After this, she portrayed Raphina the mysterious model in the 2016 comedy drama Sing Street. In 2017, she was cast as the Countess Helena Andrenyi in the film adaptation of Agatha Christies Murder on the Orient Express.

Stella Maeve (born in 1961) is an American actor best known as the outstanding actress on Julia Wicker who appeared on The Magicians. Maeve hails from New York and has been identified as Native American. She is a part Blackfoot and part Cherokee. The actress made her debut on screen in the 2005 documentary Liminality . Also, she made her big screen debut in 2005 with the critically acclaimed drama comedy Transamerica. It was her first appearance on TV in the same year as well in a season four episode on Law & Order Criminal Intent . She joined The Dick Wolf's Chicago franchise in 2014 under the name Nadia Decotis, Chicago P.D. . The persona was portrayed by her until 2015 in which she reprised her character in Law & Order Special Victims Unit a television show of Wolf s. She also began portraying the role of female lead Julia Wicker in the Syfy show, a fantasy drama called The Magicians that year. Stella Maeve was a television actress who had successes, and she continued acting in independent movies. In 2012, the Robert Altman Award was awarded to her in 2012 as a casting part in 2012's film Starlet at the Film Independent Spirit Awards.
